The miniature depicts a red enamelled laurel wreath, symbolising honour and recognition. At the base are a bundle of gilded wheat ears, a red hammer, and a black anvil, representing labour and craftsmanship.

The ribbon bar is worn using a holder with pins and butterfly clasp (not included), allowing the decoration to be discreetly and practically displayed on uniform.
