Medal Laureate of Labour - silver

This ribbon belongs to the Laureate of Labour Decoration – Silver. It is made of silvered and gilt metal, mounted on a dark brown ribbon edged with red and silver-coloured stripes.

The insignia is a stylised torch in silvered metal, symbolising enlightenment, knowledge and labour. The shaft is decorated with wheat ears, representing the fruits and dignity of labour.

The ribbon is worn by sliding it directly through the buttonhole of the collar, allowing the decoration to be displayed discreetly and elegantly on civilian attire.
