Civil Medal 1st class - Fire department

The Civil Medal First Class – Fire Brigade (large model in solid fine silver, .999) is an official Belgian decoration awarded for distinguished services within the fire brigade. The medal is shaped as a four-armed cross with broad ends and a refined border decoration. At its centre is the monogram “L” of King Leopold II, executed in gilded relief.

It is attached by a simple ring suspension and worn from a green moiré ribbon with two white stripes, the traditional ribbon identifying the award for fire brigade services. Compared to the standard metal version, the silver variant offers higher quality, greater collector’s value, and the lasting refinement of a precious metal finish.
