Description

The ribbon of the Military Medal Second Class is worn on civilian attire as a simple substitute for the full-size medal. It consists of a piece of moiré ribbon in red, yellow, and black, mounted on a metal base that slides through the buttonhole of the garment.

A portion of the metal base is folded back on the reverse side, securing it firmly in place. Unlike the First Class, this ribbon bar is not fitted with a metallic chevron, giving it a simpler appearance.
