Commander Order of Leopold

This reduction of the Commander insignia in the Order of Leopold is the French-language version, entirely crafted from solid fine silver (.999). This reduced model is intended to be worn on the daily uniform or civilian dress, mainly at less formal occasions, as an alternative to the large model.

The cross features, in the central medallion, the gilded Belgian lion surrounded by the French-language inscription “L’union fait la force”. The reduction is attached to the order’s traditional purple moiré ribbon, fitted with a rosette with a silver bar, in accordance with the official regulations.
