Decoration Mutual Health Funds 2nd class

The Distinction Mutual Health Funds 2nd Class is an official award conferred for services rendered within mutual societies and the functioning of social protection. This grade honours individuals who have made a valuable contribution to solidarity and mutual support within the community.

The distinction takes the form of a silver-coloured enamelled cross with blue arms, encircled by a wreath of green enamelled oak and laurel branches accented with red. At its centre is a silver emblem, surrounded by a red band bearing the inscription “Mutualité – Onderlinge Bijstand”. The decoration is surmounted by a silver royal crown, underlining its official status.

It is suspended from a moiré ribbon in the Belgian national colours of black, yellow, and red. Unlike the 1st Class, the ribbon bears no rosette. The distinction is worn on the left breast, attached by the rectangular ribbon.
