Decoration Professional Union 1st class

The Distinction Professional Union, 1st Class is an official award granted in recognition of outstanding commitment within professional associations, trade unions, and sectoral interest organizations. It highlights the importance of collective action, solidarity, and the defense of professional interests, and is presented to members who have shown long-standing and meaningful dedication to their professional community.

The distinction takes the form of a silver-coloured enamelled cross with blue arms, encircled by a wreath of green enamelled oak and laurel branches accented with red. At the centre is a gilt emblem symbolizing professional associations, surrounded by a red band bearing the inscription “Beroepsvereniging – Union Professionnelle”. The decoration is surmounted by a golden royal crown, underlining its official and national recognition.

It is suspended from a moiré ribbon in the Belgian national colours of black, yellow, and red. A tricolour rosette is affixed to the ribbon, marking the grade of 1st Class. The distinction is worn on the left breast, attached by the rectangular ribbon.
