Korean War Medal

The Korean War Medal is an official decoration of the Republic of Korea, awarded to foreign military personnel who participated in the Korean War between 1950 and 1953. The full-size medal consists of a round bronze medallion depicting the Korean peninsula on a globe, framed by a laurel wreath and crossed projectiles. It is suspended from a yellow ribbon with green edges, flanked by thin red and white stripes, and featuring the traditional red and blue yin-yang emblem at the centre.
