Medal of the Red Cross of Belgium 2nd class

The ribbon of the Medal of Honour of the Belgian Red Cross – Second Class is made from the white moiré ribbon with two vertical red stripes. It is folded into the traditional triangular lapel shape and mounted on a metal base. This base is slipped through the lapel buttonhole and secured at the back with a foldable part of the mount. The ribbon provides a sober and elegant way to display the Second Class distinction without the full medal.
