Civil Cross 2nd class

A prestigious version of the miniature of the Civic Cross, Second Class, also exists, produced entirely in solid fine silver (.999). This refined model follows the same design and finish but stands out through the use of precious metal.

The small Maltese cross is made in solid fine silver, with white enamelled arms. The central medallion bears the monogram “L” in silver on a white background, while laurel leaves in silver are set between the arms of the cross. The miniature is suspended from an ornamental connector in solid fine silver and attached to a moiré ribbon in red with black stripes, the traditional colours of the Belgian Civil Decorations.
