Civil Medal 3rd class

The miniature of the Civic Medal, Third Class, is a reduced-size version of the official award, intended for occasions where a more discreet form is appropriate. This model is crafted in bronze.

The small medal takes the form of a four-armed cross with broad ends and engraved ornamentation. The central medallion bears the monogram “L” (Leopold II) in bronze relief. The miniature is suspended from a bronze loop and attached to a moiré ribbon in red with black stripes.
