The miniature of the Officer grade of the Order of Leopold II is a refined representation of this Belgian distinction. This version is made of high-quality metal, finished with gilding and enamel.

The miniature cross is gilt, with a central black enamelled medallion featuring the gilded Belgian lion in relief. The surrounding dark blue enamel ring shows the national motto in French: “L’UNION FAIT LA FORCE”. The piece is surmounted by a gilt royal crown.

The miniature is suspended from a blue moiré ribbon with a central black stripe, featuring a rosette, the distinctive mark of the Officer grade.
