Officer Order of Leopold II

The miniature of the Officer grade of the Order of Leopold II is a refined representation of this Belgian distinction. This version is made of solid fine silver (.999) and differs from the standard metal version by its precious metal base and superior refinement. Finished with gilding and enamel.

The miniature cross is gilt, with a central black enamelled medallion featuring the gilded Belgian lion in relief. The surrounding dark blue enamel ring shows the national motto in French: “L’UNION FAIT LA FORCE”. The piece is surmounted by a gilt royal crown.

The miniature is suspended from a blue moiré ribbon with a central black stripe, featuring a rosette, the distinctive mark of the Officer grade.
