Medal of the Red Cross of Belgium 1st class

The ribbon of the Medal of Honour of the Belgian Red Cross – First Class is produced from white moiré ribbon with a broad central red stripe. The ribbon is folded into the traditional triangular lapel shape and mounted on a metal base. This base is slipped through the lapel buttonhole and secured at the back with a foldable part of the mount. The ribbon provides a sober and elegant way to wear the distinction without the full medal.
